Plum Prune Pluot

Avoid Plum Prune Pluot, highly acidic

Plums are high in oxalates, potassium and acidity. These fruits are to be avoided with kidney cysts. These can be toxic to the liver. Prunes come in many different varieties. One is high in cyanide and poisons liver stock. Another is pickled and salted in Japan to give a sweet salty sour flavor and called umeboshi plum. However ripe in season golden Mirabelle plums picked ripe in season off a tree and are so very sweet and delicious.
