A vegan diet is likely to be the diet that helps with cystic organ disease. A vegan diet is alkaline. Alkalinity aides a healthy human body, it helps to maintain cystic kidney health and cystic liver health.

I am NOT recommending we eat potatoes. Potatoes are high in potassium; are a detrimental nightshade plant to be avoided with PKD; can produce harmful alkaloids and solanine; and when heated give off harmful acrylamide, a carcinogen.
As an example only, here is a list below of the amino acid content of 9 large baked potatoes. These amino acids are well over the required amounts of essential amino acids one needs to take in daily. The following table shows the amino acid requirements for adults as recommended by the World Health Organization, and it is followed by the amino acids contained in 9 potatoes:  2530 calories of baked potatoes = 9 large baked potatoes.

Vegetable Protein

Artichokes, beets, broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, cucumbers, green peas, kale, lettuce, mushroom, mustard green, onions, spinach, turnip greens, watercress, yams, zucchini.

Apple, banana, cantaloupe local, grape, grapefruit, honeydew melon, orange, papaya (non-GMO), peach, pear, pineapple, tangerine, watermelon.
