Enjoy Eating Low Fat Diet

Dr. Greg Germino, now head of the kidney and liver disease section of the NIH has written a paper that a low in fat diet might be useful for diminishing kidney cyst growth. This was not done on humans, but in the laboratory with the PKD animal model and it worked. This is a clue to possibly diminishing cyst growth.

Fried Foods

Eating fried foods depletes the body's natural Vitamin E. It raises cholesterol. It lines the vascular system with placque paving the way for cardiovascular disease.

Fried Vegetables

Frying these at high temperatures can create acrylamide. Acrylamide is a known carcinogen. It impairs fertility and causes nerve damage to humans exposed in the workplace. It has long been used for industrial purposes, Polyacrylamide gels are used in construction, in ore processing, soil conditioning agent, sewage treatment and it is component of cigarette smoke.

We are  sharing our experiences with PKD/PLD Diet, an adjunct diet envisioning it complementing a physician's prescribed medical therapy. Consider testing this with your doctor's prior knowledge, who can  adjust it according to your own uniqueness by adding it to your current  treatment.
