PKD DIET

Wild yams

Avoid Wild yams

Avoid all hormones as these can cause liver cyst enlargement. Plant phytoestrogens also can increase liver cysts. Avoid wild yam is it is an endocrine disruptor, enhances bust development, and detrimental to PKD/PLD. Wild yam contains Fusarium, a fungus that produces zearalenone, a potent estrogen disruptor associated with breast enlargement in humans and other species. Can cause PLD liver growth. Wild yam progesterone may decrease fibroids, but documented cases shows it will increase liver cyst size. This is not to be confused with yams and sweet potatoes which are to be fully enjoyed.

I personally have never picked wild yam (Dioscorea villosa). I know using the cream did cause me considerable problems.
