Triclosan

Avoid Triclosan

Triclosan is to be avoided. It is an endocrine disruptor. It is used as an antibacterial agent present in many personal care products, liquid hand soap, dishwashing detergent, toothpastes, face washes, deodorants, antibacterial plastics, fabrics for cutting boards, gym mats, shoe insoles and more. It is linked to liver & inhalation toxicity. Even low levels may disrupt thyroid function. Triclosan has ended up in water sources, lakes, rivers, and it is extremely toxic to aquatic life. Triclosan use encourages bacterial resistance to antibiotics and alters hormone regulation through its constant use and availability. Antibacterial soaps (triclosan) has been found in human breast milk, plasma & our water supply.

We are  sharing our experiences with PKD/PLD Diet, an adjunct diet envisioning it complementing a physician's prescribed medical therapy. Consider testing this with your doctor's prior knowledge, who can  adjust it according to your own uniqueness by adding it to your current  treatment.
