Enjoy sprouts

Enjoy sprouts especially if made by you. Commercial sprouts can be contaminated with salmonella or worse with chemicals. Careful when eating totally raw sprouted beans, legumes, grains as these can have substantial phytates. Sprouting does reduce their phytate content but one is left with 50% of phytic acid. Sprouted grains should also be soaked and cooked.
