Sesame

Avoid Sesame

Avoid sesame, sesame oil and tahini. These are phytoestrogens and endocrine disruptors. It can be highly allergic, in Australian children it is found in 0.42%. Sesamin is from sesame seeds and it's the only place you will find it. Since we eat very little in our diet (only a few seeds sprinkled on a bagel or muffin or in soup), the process of extracting these lignans and using them in sesamin supplements is one way they're used.

Tahini is a middle Eastern condiment made from sesame seeds. Sesame seed, wheat, and cacao are among the foods that contain the mold aspergillus coupled with the protein element in peanuts~sesame, cocoa and wheat can lead to the production of aflatoxin, a known proven cancer producing agent. In China liver cancer has reached epidemic proportions, the culprit is aflatoxin. Of 41 of 50 samples of peanut butter were contaminated. Of 37 of 100 samples of sesame seed paste were contaminated. Sesame seed has minimal estrogenic activity. Sesame seeds are also the number nine of all allergic foods. It could raise blood pressure and cause liver cyst growth.

China Study

The China Study was written by a scientist who went to third world countries to convince them to have their children eat more protein. He studied in particular children in the Philippines. These children came from the wealthier families. They ate the most protein because they could afford to eat more proteins but these children were dying of liver cancer at a very young age. Liver cancer is usually a disease of an older population. There was coincidentally a little publicized study going on at the same time. Researchers fed rats a known amount of aflatoxin [known to be in peanuts]. They divided the rats into two groups. One group ate a lower protein diet; the second group ate a high protein diet. 100% of the high protein diet rats ALL developed liver cancers and died. 0% of the low protein diet rats did not develop liver cancer. Both groups received the exact same dose of the carcinogen aflatoxin. He makes an interesting point about vegetarian.

Protein calculation

Calculate your protein percentage (under 20%)
If you eat a neutral protein of 0.6 grams/Kilogram of body weight and you weigh 110 pounds, the resulting equation is 110 divided by 2.2 = 50 kg
Multiply 50 kg x 0.6 grams
= 30 grams
Multiply 30 grams x 4 calories/gram = 120 calorie/gram.

To calculate the percentage of protein in your diet from a neutral protein and your daily calorie intake for 1500 calories
The resulting equation is:
1500 calories multiplied. Multiply (120 x 100 = 12000) divided by 1500
= 8 % protein calories, well under 20% as recommended in the book The China Study.

Top 10 allergic foods

If you are allergic, food allergies can raise blood pressure. If you have liver cysts the release of histamine causes liver cysts to grow.
1. Wheat
2. Soy
3. Shellfish
4. Fish
5. Tree Nuts
6. Peanut
7. Eggs
8. Milk
9. Sesame
10 Celery
The first eight foods are the notorious big eight list. They account for nearly 90% of food-related allergic reactions in the United States. Allergenic foods cause the release of histamine. Histamine release stimulates liver cyst growth. Rounding out the top ten food allergies are numbers nine and ten: sesame and celery.
