Enjoy Manuka Honey

When needed take manuka though its pH is 3.7, highly acidic. The manuka bush (Leptospermum scoparium) is indigenous to New Zealand. It is made into a local New Zealand honey. Manuka honey has strong antibiotic activity even effective against resistant strains of staphylococcus aureus & psudomonas aeruginosa. It has shown promise for persistent sinus infections. Try to purchase UMF = 'Unique Manuka Factor' when buying Manuka honey. The greater the UMF number (0-30) the more expensive the manuka honey. It maybe useful for itching, gastroenteritis & other bacterial infections. These organisms do not develop resistance to Manuka honey. It might be useful for chronic UTI's.
