Avoid Macela Achyrocline satureioides

For the moment if this were me, I would not take a chance by taking Macela Achyrocline satureioides. There is not enough research to say if we might be harmed by taking it.

Achyrocline satureioides is a genotoxic substance with an affinity to interact with DNA - which is not proof of their dangerousness to humans, but does render them potentially mutagenic or carcinogenic. Typical genotoxins are believed to cause mutations because they form strong covalent bonds  with DNA  preventing accurate replication.

We with PLD have the second hit mechanism in place. Maintaining the integrity of our DNA is prudent to preventing increasing cyst formation. Anything that helps maintain DNA integrity is beneficial whereas anything that disrupts DNA is less than beneficial. A lecture I heard a lecture by the doctor who discovered the second hit mechanism as it relates to PKD explained this further. I stayed behind to listen to more. He said to us to avoid carcinogenic agents, to avoid endocrine disruptors, this could help delay the onset of cystic organ symptoms. I have followed his advice and am so glad that I did.

Achyrocline satureioides has some antibacterial and antiviral properties. It has even been thought of to save the world bee population. Check out the below articles.

We are  sharing our experiences with PKD/PLD Diet, an adjunct diet envisioning it complementing a physician's prescribed medical therapy. Consider testing this with your doctor's prior knowledge, who can  adjust it according to your own uniqueness by adding it to your current  treatment.
