Hops

Avoid hops

The female flowers are used from the hop plant or the seed cones or strobiles of the hop plant (Humulus lupulus). Hops makes one sleepy; it contains strong phytoestrogens, endocrine disruptor. Avoid hops as it is detrimental for PKD/PLD. Enhances bust. Hops contain 8-prenylnaringenin, a phytoestrogen that is more potent than other dietary phytoestrogens. Hops are used extensively in brewing beers and lagers for their antibacterial effect that favors the activity of brewer's yeast over less desirable microorganisms. Germany produces the most hops for the world.
