Acacia

Avoid Acacia

Avoid breathing acacia. Acacia can interact with some medications with alkaloids, and it interferes with the absorption of certain vitamins when an enzyme in it is not deactivated via heat. It also counteracts the antibacterial properties of methyl-p-hydroxybenzoate, a preservative.

Aborigines of Australia have traditionally harvested the seeds of some species, to be ground into flour and eaten as a paste or baked into a cake. The seeds contain as much as 25% more protein than common cereals, and they store well for long periods due to the hard seed coats. Caution, the bark contains tannins.

We are  sharing our experiences with PKD/PLD Diet, an adjunct diet envisioning it complementing a physician's prescribed medical therapy. Consider testing this with your doctor's prior knowledge, who can  adjust it according to your own uniqueness by adding it to your current  treatment.
