POLYCYSTIC KIDNEY DISEASE DIET

Recipes

Danevas

PKD Recipes is home to many more alkaline recipes. Through maintaining alkalinity one can help keep the integration of ones own personal DNA intact, squelching the second hit mechanism that can cause an increase in cyst numbers and symptoms. Most of these recipes are alkaline and generally beneficial for individuals with polycystic livers and polycystic kidneys. Choose from the pulldown menu below for alkaline recipes such as almond milk, soup or non-yeasted spelt bread. If you enjoy animal proteins try a lamb stew or choose some better animal protein choices. A protein chart of some common foods made by a fellow PKD'r is available. Some have experienced success in limiting symptoms through diet.

A few more Recipes – are PKD alkaline recipes that has been put together by an incredibly supportive wife for her husband with PKD. She has graciously given her permission to post her recipes here. PKD Recipes now contains many of these recipes. We add to PKD Recipes continually.
