I am NOT recommending potatoes. Potatoes are to be avoided with PKD/PLD, high in potassium, as a nightshade plant potatoes produce
harmful alkaloids and solanine. Nightshade plants are to be avoided with PKD.

It contains well over the required amounts of essential amino acids one needs to take in daily.

Some Beans and Legumes Contain Protein
Try to purchase non-GMO vegetables.
Garbanzo beans, kidney beans, lentils, lima beans, navy beans, white beans, split peas.
Some Grains Contain Protein
Barley, brown rice protein, buckwheat, millet, oatmeal, quinoa, rye, wild rice, especially spelt.
Some Vegetables Contain Protein
Artichokes, beets, broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, cucumbers, green peas, kale, lettuce, mushroom, mustard green, onions, spinach, turnip greens, watercress, yams, zucchini.
Some Fruits Contain Protein
Apple, banana, cantaloupe local, grape, grapefruit, honeydew melon, orange, papaya (non-GMO), peach, pear, pineapple, tangerine, watermelon.
Some Nuts and Seeds Contain Proteins
Almonds, cashews, filberts, hemp seeds, walnuts (black).
Chlorophyll
Chlorophyll has a similar molecular structure to that of blood hemoglobin. The chlorophyll molecule and the hemoglobin molecule are almost identical. At the center hemoglobin has iron whereas chlorophyll has magnesium. This similarity was first suggested in 1855 by Verdel.
Many potent food alkalizers are filled with chlorophyll:
cereal grass juice, kale juice, leafy greens juice.
Consuming chlorophyll allows one to
capture sunlight as energy according to a recent theory.

All of this can be correlated with Dr. Grantham's discovery, that the fluid inside a cyst is filled with a very similar chemical that is within a plant forskolin or coleus. We with PKD/PLD may have inherited DNA gone awry, but drinking the juice of plants, this liquid, may help us to heal.
Grains A Source of Inflammation?
A few have noticed bloating from all grains. Following my own liver resection I was unable to eat any grain that had been ground into a flour, even freshly ground by me. If that flour was made into a bread, flat bread or a cracker, I noticed pain emanating from my liver. This did not occur if the whole grains were soaked and made into a cereal.
For this reason some have chosen to try avoiding all grains. Inflammation of cystic organs is present. One researcher has said if the cause of this inflammation can be found, perhaps this discovery could lead to a cure for PKD.
Aging ATP
With aging comes a decrease in ATP, an enzyme within the body that lessens and lessens. According to wikipedia—
"Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is a nucleoside triphosphate used in cells as a coenzyme often called the "molecular unit of currency" of intracellular energy transfer. ATP transports chemical energy within cells for metabolism."
The amount of ATP within the body can rise byUtilizing a far infrared device.
Get enough sleep
Keep yourself from getting debilitating diseases by decreasing exposure to cigarette smoke, alcohol, toxins, processed and fatty foods.
Drinking plenty of water.
Having adequate vitamin C and vitamin B intake.
Drinking green juices daily.
Protect your own DNA (milk thistle, cruciform vegetables, turmeric, etc.)
