Octreotide, sandostatin LAR, lanreotide, vapreotide, somatostatin are names for the same drug. The following are articles from the Netherlands' experience using Lanreotide gel given subcutaneously every 28 days. There is a (6) six month study with lanreotide that showed a percentage reduction in PLD Polycystic Liver Disease.
