Pineapple

Enjoy pineapple

Bromelain derived from pineapple is sometimes used to replace anti-inflammatories such as aspirin like drugs in the treatment of arthritis, fever and such. It can be found as a supplement.

Try a slice of pineapple 20 minutes before a meal. This helps reduce appetite and increases available enzymes to help digest a meal and helps to further digest proteins. Pineapple is beneficial for PKD/PLD, alkaline producing. Pineapple also contains bromelain, a potent anti-inflammatory. Locally we have what is known as a white pineapple. The white pineapple is less acidic than the yellow with undertones of vanilla and lychee.

Inflammation is what is seen with PKD Polycystic Kidney Disease. A handle on inflammation should help PKD Polycystic Kidney Disease. Anti-inflammation is a part of pineapple. A few pieces of pineapple per day can really help PKD Polycystic Kidney Disease or even a small glass of pineapple juice.
