Avoid St. John's Wort

Hypericum perforatum

Avoid detrimental to PKD/PLD. St. John's Wort reduces the concentration of cyclosporin (a transplant drug) rendering it less effective. St. John's Wort affects the metabolism of many drugs: immunosuppressive, warfarin, digoxin, cyclosporin. The most important risk associated with hypericum extracts (like St. John's Wort) are its interactions with other drugs.
