Olive oil

Enjoy olive oil

Extra virgin olive oil may stave off Alzheimer's according to a new study from Temple University research team. Beneficial to PKD/PLD limit intake to one ounce per day. It is useful as a laxative mix one teaspoon with a few drops of fresh lemon juice and take no more frequently than twice a week. Advantageous for dry skin when applied to open porous wet skin following a bath or shower. Baking soda rubbed onto the skin following olive oil helps diminish the oily feeling while leaving the skin smooth and silky.

Olive oil is natural free of cholesterol, trans fat, salt, sugar, gluten and it is rich in monounsaturated fat (the good kind). It attracts external moisture, holds it close to the skin and protects the body from internal moisture loss. Olive oil does not cause acne and other skin problems. Bone density is improved by eating parsley and olives.

We are  sharing our experiences with PKD/PLD Diet, an adjunct diet envisioning it complementing a physician's prescribed medical therapy. Consider testing this with your doctor's prior knowledge, who can  adjust it according to your own uniqueness by adding it to your current  treatment.
