PEG Poly Ehylene Glycol or Glycol Ethers
On its own, ethylene glycol is used to manufacture plastics, polyester, antifreeze, brake fluid. According to the National Institute for Occupational Safety it is an extremely toxic substance. Glycol ethers, which are common solvents in paints, cleaning products, brake fluid and cosmetics. Shrunken testicles have been found in rats exposed to these chemicals.
Antifreeze
Antifreeze is made from ethylene glycol. Ethylene glycol is chemically broken down in the body into toxic compounds. It and its toxic byproducts first affect the central nervous system (CNS), then the heart, and finally the kidneys. Ingestion of sufficient amounts [as little as 30 ml per KM] can be fatal. Wear a mask when pouring this in your car. This is also a strong endocrine disruptor that will promote liver cyst growth.
