PKD DIET

Keishi-Bukuryo

Avoid Keishi-Bukuryo

Keishi-Bukuryo is a traditional formula made up of four herbs and a mushroom. It has endocrine disruptive capabilities. For this reason avoid Keishi-Bukuryo with PKD/PLD. It is widely used in Japan for the treatment of perimenopausal hot flashes. Keishi-bukuryo-gan showed a protective effect against vascular injury in the susceptible rat. It does not confer estrogen activity on plasma, may be useful for the treatment of hot flashes. Clinical trials are still evaluating Keishi-Bukuryo for hot flashes. It contains 20% White Peony or Bai Shao, 20% Cinnamon Bark or Rou Gui, 20% Persica or Tao Ren, which is the inner kernel of the peach, 20% Poria cocos mushroom or Fu Ling, and 20% Moutan peony or Mu Dan Pi.

We are  sharing our experiences with PKD/PLD Diet, an adjunct diet envisioning it complementing a physician's prescribed medical therapy. Consider testing this with your doctor's prior knowledge, who can  adjust it according to your own uniqueness by adding it to your current  treatment.
